Get Mew
Start a new game. When you get to Cerulean City go to the mart and buy some pokeballs. Get your pokemon healed at the pokemon center. Go on to nugget bridge beat the nugget trainers and the team rocket guy. Instead of going to route 25, go left into patch of grass on the piece of land sticking out into the water. Do not let the bug-catcher see you. Walk around in the grass until you encouter an abra and catch the abra. Abras learn a move called teleport at a very early level that allows you to travel back to the last pokemon center you were at. Save your game and walk so the bug catcher can see you. As soon as you take this step quickly press start. If you mess up turn off the game and try again thats why you should save. The menu will come up before the trainer sees you so select pokemon and select abra teleport will an option at the top of the small menu that says stats, switch, and that kind of thing. Select teleport. You will be back at the Cerulean City pokemon center. Walk up towards nugget bridge and the start menu will pop up all by itself. Press B to get rid of it and a level seven mew, knowing only pound, will appear. You can catch it, it shound be easy. This cheat works, I tried and I have a mew.

How to cach the pokemon: M
First you need to talk to the man in pewter hwo teached you to cach pokemon. After that, fly to canibar iceland and surf on the right side where land and water meets. Surf ut and down until you meet a pokemon on level 0 (Its not on level 80 or 172 its on level 0! That pokemon on 80 and 172 is MISSINGNO. You dont need to cach him!)Cach the M and make it learn new TM or HM moves. (Dont keep the old ones, it will make the game stopp!)THen use a rare candy and it will evelove to a Kangashkan !! (It will keep your moves and it will be able to learn the kangashkan moves to!) !! Enjoy !!!

Big Pokemon
If you have 100 masterballs you can catch big pokemon. Go to the mister neer the last house in the second village. Talk to him end fly to cinabar Island. If youve done right. Strong pokemon and rare pokemon will come and atack you from level 100. Like: Goldduck and Hitmonlee!!!

Get 100 master balls!
To get 100 master balls go to silph co office building and complete that and after you beat Giovanni go talk to the president of silph co(he should be in the same rrom)when he gives you a master ball get out of silph co and put the master ball as yor sixth item then fly to Viridian cit and talk to the guy that says"now i had my coffe and i fell great."then fly to cinnabar island and go all the way to the right and surf when your half on land and half on water and fihgt a missingno~NOTE:dont catch him.when you get on land look at your sixth item and you should have a symbol by it .It means you have 100.

Boss Tactics
Here are your best bets for beating the Pokemon Gym Leaders: Brock: Use water or grass Pokemon against this rock trainer.
Misty: Use grass pokemon or electric to defeat this gym leader.
Leiutenant Surge: use a rock or ground pokemon and hes toast.
Erika: Use fire pokemon or flight against this plant lover and shatter her dreams of fighting you again.
Sabrina: Use bug or ghost against this psychomaniac and she is a goner.
Koga: This poison pokemon lover will be deafeted easily by using psy pokemon.
Blaine: This fire trainer will use fire pokemon against you so you can use water or ice.
Final boss: Giovanni, the team rocket leader, is the final gym leader - use water, ice, plant and hes out of there (and talk to him again and he says something to you).
In the Indigo Plateu you find 5 pokemon masters. Use this pokemon lineup for a better chance of success: Plant
Water, Plant, Flight, Ice

Celadon City Slot Tip
All of the slot machines have different odds, which change every time. Play each machine 4 times, and if it hits 2 or more, then stick with that one, because its probably hot. If the slow machine forces you really close to a 777 or Bar Bar Bar it will probably give you one or the other soon.

Clone Pokemon
Note: This trick requires a nother Game Boy, link cable and Pokemon game. Trade the Pokemon to be cloned, and have the other player select a Pokemon that he or she does not care about. Trade them, and make sure the player receiving the bad Pokemon can see the other players screen. When the Game Boy that receives the good Pokemons displays "Waiting", get ready to shut the other Game Boy off. When the "Waiting" message disappears, turn off the Game Boy that is receiving the bad Pokemon. When the "Trade completed" message appears, turn off the remaining Game Boy. Both games will have the same good Pokemon when they are turned back on. Note: Do not attempt this trick with any saved games you wish to keep, as it can corrupt those files if done incorrectly.

Cut Down Grassy Areas
Once you get the HM "cut", your pokemon can cut down grassy areas. Use "cut" and it will cut a two by two area. Wild Pokemon will not attack you in the area you cut.

Duplicate Items
To get 99 of any item, first put the item you want to multiply in the sixth item slot. Now use FLY and go to Viridian City. Talk to the old man almost all the way north of the town. When he asks if you are in a hurry, say no and watch him catch a weedle. Right after that, fly to Fuchsia city. Make your way south and, when you you reach the waters edge, use SURF and make your way to Seafoam island. When you get to seafoam island, swim up and down the beach until you run into a Pokemon called "M" (Missingno.) Once you see him, kill him or run away. DO NOT CATCH HIM! After that, you should have multiple copies of your sixth item!
